System Policies

Effective: January 2026

1. Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

All customers and users of SwiftDig services are required to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of services.

Prohibited Activities

  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Unauthorized access attempts to other systems
  • Spamming or unsolicited bulk email
  • Hosting illegal content or copyright-infringing material
  • Network attacks including DDoS, port scanning, or probing
  • Cryptocurrency mining without explicit authorization
  • Phishing or fraudulent activities
  • Hosting content that promotes violence or hatred

2. Resource Usage Policy

To ensure fair resource allocation and optimal performance for all customers:

  • CPU and memory usage must remain within allocated limits
  • Bandwidth usage is subject to fair use guidelines
  • Storage must be used for legitimate business purposes
  • Excessive resource consumption may result in throttling or additional charges

3. Network Security Policy

Customers are responsible for securing their servers and applications:

  • Keep all software and operating systems up to date
  • Use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication
  • Configure firewalls appropriately
  • Monitor for suspicious activity
  • Report security incidents immediately to our support team

4. Backup Policy

While SwiftDig provides backup services as an optional feature, customers are ultimately responsible for maintaining their own backups:

  • Regular backups are recommended for all critical data
  • Test backup restoration procedures periodically
  • Store backups in geographically separate locations when possible
  • SwiftDig is not liable for data loss due to customer negligence

5. Maintenance Windows

To maintain optimal performance and security, SwiftDig performs regular maintenance:

  • Scheduled maintenance: Sundays 02:00-06:00 UTC
  • Customers will be notified at least 48 hours in advance
  • Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice
  • Maintenance status updates are available at status.swiftdig.net

6. Service Level Agreement (SLA)

SwiftDig commits to the following service levels:

7. Enforcement

Violation of these policies may result in:

  • Warning and request for immediate remediation
  • Temporary suspension of services
  • Permanent termination of account
  • Legal action where appropriate
